About our doctor

Chad Dugas, FNP-C, DC is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and chiropractor who has spent more than a decade providing top-notch health care to residents in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Dr. Dugas practices out of the Dallas office of Advanced Healthcare Clinics, a multidisciplinary pain management practice that offers a full scope of injury care services.

While caring for patients, Dr. Dugas always seeks to correct the cause of a problem, not simply treat its symptoms. His whole-person treatment approach aims to free and assist, rather than control or intrude.

Dr. Dugas earned his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Texas at Austin, before continuing his education at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, where he obtained a second bachelor’s degree in human anatomy and a master’s degree in nursing. Dr. Dugas completed his education at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic.

Prior to joining Advanced Healthcare Clinics, Dr. Dugas practiced in urgent care as well as pain management, where he gained extensive experience dealing with workers’ compensation injuries, surveillance, and DOT exams. He is married and has two children.
