Dr. Scott C. Kutz is a board-certified neurosurgeon who specializes in treating spinal conditions, including herniated discs, spinal tumors, spinal stenosis, and degenerative disc disease. With a particular interest in minimally invasive surgical procedures, sacroiliac joint disorder treatment, and artificial disc replacement, Dr. Kutz has successfully helped numerous patients return to their daily activities using innovative surgical techniques.
Dr. Kutz obtained his Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his medical degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago. He then completed his surgical internship and neurosurgical residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, followed by a stereotactic and functional neurosurgery fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
In recognition of his professional achievements, Dr. Kutz has been named a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons since 2011 and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons since 2010. He is also an active member of several associations, including the American Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
