About our doctor

Torrence Stepteau, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain doctor at TREND Healthcare, with offices in Hurst and Dallas, Texas. He has helped patients find relief from their pain for over 20 years.

Dr. Stepteau earned his medical degree in 1993 from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. The following year, he completed an internship at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, before doing his residency in anesthesiology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He finished off his medical education with a fellowship in pain medicine at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dr. Stepteau holds certifications in anesthesiology and pain medicine from the American Board of Anesthesiology. He’s proud to be affiliated with both Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southlake and Medical City North Hills.

He’s treated hundreds of patients over the last two decades and is ready to welcome anyone in the Dallas-Fort Worth area looking for solutions for their pain.
